As a member of Captain Continental’s Savers Club, you have a chance to earn money and win prizes as you learn the importance of managing your money through saving, sharing, and spending.


How you ask? When you open a Savers Club account at Continental Bank, you will receive a FREE Moonjar® Bank. By using the Moonjar, you can easily split your money three different ways. You can save, share, or spend. Plus, Continental Bank is going to reward you throughout the year.      

SAVE with a Free Savings Account
By saving, you learn to set goals for some of your big purchases. Maybe you want to buy a new bike or a skateboard but do not have enough money. You can even save for a car for when you are older or even college. Each time you receive your allowance, put some of it into the Save Box of your Moonjar.  At the end of the month, put this money into your savings account at Continental Bank. You’ll be surprised at how quickly your money will add up just by saving some of it each week!  You will receive even more money because of the interest you will earn on the balance in your account! SHARE with our “Kids Helping Kids” Program
Sharing is an important lesson you need to learn as well.  With Continental Bank’s “Kids Helping Kids” Program, you will learn to share some of your money with kids from your community who need your help. Even a couple of dollars each month makes a big difference!  Put some of your allowance money into the Share box of your Moonjar and donate it to a charity. Continental Bank will help you donate even more money. At the end of each year, Continental Bank will donate 1%* of your balance in your name to the Continental Bank Foundation, a foundation geared to helping kids in our area. A certificate will be sent to you showing the donation was made. By sharing your money with other kids, you are making the world a better place!

SPEND a Yearly 1% Cash Deposit, as a Reward for Saving
Spending some of your money on yourself is important and fun too. Every once and awhile it’s nice to treat yourself to something you want!  You could spend this on a trip to the movies or that cool new toy your friends are talking about at school.  When you earn your allowance, put some of it in the Spend Box of your Moonjar. Plus, once a year as a reward for saving, Continental Bank will give you 1%** of your balance to spend however you choose. 

*Once a year, the bank will submit a donation equal to 1% of the Savers Club member’s balance on a specified date to the Continental Bank Foundation on behalf of the Saver Club Member. Limit one account per individual. Maximum donation is $10 per year.

** Once a year, the bank will make a cash deposit equal to 1% of the Savers Club member’s balance on a specified date into their account. Limit one account per individual. Maximum cash rebate is $10 per year.
